Former Sindh minister joins PMLN
The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz continued to make inroads into Sindh’s politics, this time by attracting a major name for Pakistan Peoples Party.
Akhtar Jadoon, former provincial minister for transportation, formally joined the PMLN on Wednesday.
The joining was announced by PMLN’s newly-appointed SIndh president Bashir Memon in a post on X.
Memon posted a photo with Jadoon, with Nehal Hashmi also accompanying the two.
He welcomed Jadoon into the party and said that the ‘promise’ made to him would be fulfilled by the PMLN leadership.
PPP’s Saeed Ghani had been asked by reporters about rumours of Jadoon gravitating towards PMLN on Wednesday but had replied that he had no knowledge.
