A mobile application called “RABTA” was formally introduced by Railway Minister Shahid Ashraf Tarar, marking a significant step towards modernizing the train travel experience.

The abbreviation, which stands for Railway Automated Booking and Travel Assistance, represents Pakistan Railways’ dedication to improving connectivity and passenger convenience.

With the help of this cutting-edge app, travelers will be able to easily plan and carry out their travel plans from the comfort of their homes, completely changing the way people travel.

Mazhar Ali Shah, the PR secretary, excitedly posted about the news on social media, calling the RABTA app a “revolutionary platform that will change the way you plan and experience travel.”

The initial phase of the RABTA app includes connectivity for three major train routes, featuring the prestigious Greenline train that shuttles between Islamabad and Karachi.
