Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi among 41 to be placed on exit control list
The authorities in Pakistan have barred at least 41 people, most of them from the PTI, from leaving the country.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi and several other politicians from the PTI are among the people who are being placed on the no-fly list, known as the existing control list in the country.
The Exit Control List committee has recommended to the federal cabinet that the names of 41 people including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan should be placed on the list, sources told Aaj News on Wednesday.
The ECL committee met on Wednesday with ministers of interior and railways in attendance. Senior officers from ministries of interior and other departments also participated in the meeting.
Out of the 41 people being barred from leaving the country, 29 are associated with the £190 million case being investigated by the National Accountability Bureau.
