Miss Thailand applauds Malala, wishes to be like her

A captivating show of 72 Miss Universe was staged at El Salvador where contestants from more than 80 countries participated and Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua was crowned the title Miss Universe 2023.

Miss Thailand’s Anntonia Porsild clinched the first runner-up along with Miss Australia Moraya Wilson wrapped up the contest as the second runner-up.

During the concluding round, all three contestants were asked the question: “If you could live one year in another woman’s life? Who would you choose and Why?”

In response to the question Miss Thailand said she wishes to live the life of Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousuf Zai and applauded her effort to educate women saying: “She fights for women’s education and she fights for all women to be able to stand strong and be the change.”

“If I could choose anyone that would be her,” she said.

Judges selected Sheynnis Palacios but X users were giving all appreciation to Miss Thailand as the netizens believe that she has all the knowledge and she deserves the title.

Erika Robin represented Pakistan in the Miss Universe 2023, it was Pakistan’s first appearance in the contest.

Erika Robin wore Pakistan’s cultural and traditional outfits throughout the contest to walk at the ramp.
