PPP President Asif Ali Zardari has urged the United Kingdom to play a conciliatory role to end the Israeli aggression in Gaza.

The former president of Pakistan met British High Commissioner Jane Marriott in Karachi on Saturday.

During the meeting, Zardari extended well wishes for David Cameron after his appointment as Britain’s foreign minister.

The two also discussed the promotion of bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UK, while Zardari extended a well wishes message on the birthday of King Charles.

Senator Saleem Mandviwalla and Dr Asim were also present on the occasion.
