British Army chief arrives in Pakistan on 3-day visit
British Chief of General Staff General Sir Patrick Sanders has arrived in Islamabad on a three-day visit.
According to the British High Commission, General Sanders will meet Army Chief General Asim Munir.
According to the British High Commission, this visit is a manifestation of Britain’s commitment to maintain defense relations with Pakistan, there have been several defense exchanges between Pakistan and Britain in 12 months.
The British High Commission said that joint naval training and high-level military visits were exchanged between the two countries.
BHC further said General Sanders will also watch the match between the UK and Pakistan polo teams in Lahore as well.
