Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Friday that political parties should stop seeking electable and focus on winning the support of the public.

Addressing the convention in Mardan, the PPP Chairman said that the PPP served the backward class in every era, the people supported Zulfiqar Bhutto, so he gave rights to the people, made the farmers the owners of the land, despite bibi being martyred woman, clashed with the dictators, and fought them with the power of the people, they accepted martyrdom but did not back down.

The PPP chairman added that Pakistan has been stuck in its traditional political ways for the past 70 years and a new politics must emerge in the country.

Bilawal said that the PPP was the only party that had the solutions to the country’s problems. He added that the party had given KP its name and had made the people of the province the master of their resources.

The party convention took place as part of the Pakistan People’s Party’s ongoing political activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Bilawal added that conventions would continue across the province followed by rallies in the cities.

PPP has begun political rallies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since Thursday; Bilawal Bhutto will travel to the districts of Hazara, Malakand, Peshawar, Mardan, and Lucky Marwat.

The PPP chairman said at a public gathering in Abbottabad on Thursday that “we do not accept puppet and selected rule,” adding that “it is better to give me a chance than to elect someone for the second or fourth time.”
