Dua Lipa to perform in Cricket World Cup 2023 closing ceremony
Dupa Lipa, a well-known singer, will take part in the opening ceremony of the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium prior to the final match.
Star Sports, the World Cup’s official broadcaster, made the announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The caption read, “The Pitch is perfect as @DUALIPA joins the @cricketworldcup spectacle taking questions from @klrahul @ShubmanGil #KaneWilliamson @dazmitchell47 & about the song she’d perform at the #CWC23 closing ceremony.”
They posted a video of Dua answering lighthearted questions from cricket players from New Zealand and India.
Due to her mezzo-soprano vocal range and disco-inspired sound, English-Albanian singer Dua Lipa has received widespread acclaim from critics and the media.
She has won six Brit Awards, three Grammy Awards, and two Guinness World Records are just a few of the accolades she has received throughout her career.
