The Ministry of Interior has banned the sale of arms across the country and an official notification has also been issued in this regard.

In the notification, the Ministry of Interior says that apart from the Pakistan Ordinance Factory, dealer receipts are not acceptable, and arms dealers cannot sell banned bore weapons.

According to the notification, arms dealers cannot sell prohibited bore arms to license holders, license holders can only purchase arms from the Pakistan Ordinance Factory, and the license will be for arms purchased from the Pakistan Ordinance, not purchased from any dealer other than POF. There will be no arms license.
