Kapil Sharma, a household name in India known for his comedic TV show, is set to make a comeback, but this time on the OTT platform Netflix.

The popular “Kapil Sharma Show,” famous for hosting celebrity guests, will now premiere in a modern and elegant vibe.

The show’s makers released a snippet on social media, featuring Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Archana Puran Singh, and others who contributed to its classic success.

In the promo, Kapil Sharma enters a new house, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the show’s signature humour and banter with its successful history, the transition to Netflix raises anticipation for what the show will offer in this new format.

A few months ago, Kapil Sharma cautioned fans about fraud and scammers falsely offering tickets to his comedy show in exchange for money.

He clarified on social media that advertisements claiming to provide tickets or passes for “The Kapil Sharma Show” are fraudulent, emphasizing that they do not charge any ticket fees from the audience.

On the professional front, Kapil Sharma embarked on international tours to the US and Dubai. The last telecast of his comedy show was in July.

Additionally, Kapil showcased his acting prowess in filmmaker Nandita Das’s movie titled “Zwigato,” where he received acclaim for his role as a food delivery rider facing financial struggles.

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2022 and had a theatrical release on March 17, 2023.
