German footballer Thomas Muller gets Indian jersey gift
German footballer Thomas Muller has got an Indian jersey gift and sent wishes to the hosts for victory at the Men’s 50-over World Cup.
“Thank you team India for the shirt and good luck at the World Cup,” he said in a video shared on X on Monday. “It’s a pleasure.”
It merits here to mention that international sports brand Adidas is the official kit sponsor of India and FC Bayern Munich from where Muller plays in the German football league, Bundesliga.
Muller after wearing the jersey said he would plan to try to play cricket in his garden.
On May 23, the global sportswear brand and the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced that Adidas would design and manufacture jerseys, kits, and other merchandise for India’s Men’s, Women’s, and U-19 teams.
Adidas is a German athletic apparel and footwear corporation headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany.
India are one of the semifinalists in the World Cup. The Rohit Sharma-led is unbeaten and are favourites to lift the trophy. They would play New Zealand in the semifinal on November 15 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
While Bayern stands at the second position in Bundesliga points table and the team has won all of their four group stage matches in Champions League.
