Old man dies in Lahore’s plaza fire
A 73-year-old man died of burns as a result of a fire at the Plaza on Jail Road in Lahore.
As soon as the fire was reported in the plaza, the rescue teams reached the spot and after efforts took the body out of the plaza.
No further loss of life has been reported in the incident, while the deceased has been identified as Gulrez.
On the other hand, Pakistan has witnessed a series of devastating factory fires, casting a dark shadow over industrial sectors.
The fires have not only posed immediate threats to the lives of workers but also underscored the urgent need for comprehensive fire safety measures and stringent regulations in industrial settings.
