No one will accept Nawaz’s victory: Fawad
Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry said on Wednesday that political parties need to engage in a dialogue to get out of the current political climate.
Speaking to reporters as he was brought to a local court in Islamabad upon completion of his remand, Chaudhry said that even if Nawaz Sharif won an elections in such an atmosphere, no one would accept it.
He also questioned what kind of prime minister Nawaz would be if he won elections in this manner.
Chaudhry said that the three-time prime minister should play his role in lowering the political temperature.
He added that Ayube Khan’s government was great for the economy of the country but the 1965 election had become a problem for him.
Chaudhry was produced in court after his physical remand ended. However, the court sent him on a 14-day judicial remand.
He has been accussed of taking Rs5 million in return for promising a job.
