Police prepare fresh lists of Corps Commander house attack suspects
Lahore police has created fresh lists of people involved in the attack on the Corps Commander House, also known as Jinnah House, in Lahore on May 9.
Acording to reports the new lists include names of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers who have evaded arrest so far. The names were narrowed down using modern methods including geo-fencing.
The list of suspects in the Model Town division alone contains 101 names.
However, apart from political workers, the police have included two members of their own department in the list along with their photographs as well.
The names include Inspector Asim Rafi Ali, who is serving as the principle staff officer to the DIG operations. It also includes Mustafabad police station’s SHO Asif Zulfiqar.
Authorities had started a crackdown after violent protests broke out in the wake of Imran Khan’s arrest on May 9. The protests had led to the Corps Commander House being vandalised.
