The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is preparing for the general elections in the country and has compiled lists of election officers and staff who will perform duties during the election, including presiding, assistant presiding, and polling staff.

According to the lists of the ECP, a total of 1 million 7 thousand 361 staff will be appointed during the general elections across the country.

According to the sources, a total of 5,26123 officers and staff will be posted in Punjab, 3,10968 assistant presiding officers will perform duty, 54 thousand 706 presiding officers and 160 thousand 445 polling staff will be appointed.

There will be a total of 2 lac 64 thousand 100 officers and staff in Sindh, 20 thousand 315 presiding officers and 81,262 polling staff will be posted here, while 1 lac 62 thousand 523 assistant presiding officers will be on duty.

According to the sources, there will be a total of 166,655 officers and staff in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 16,525 presiding officers will be appointed in the province, while 1,85,000 assistant presiding officers and 50,045 polling staff will be on duty.

Sources said that a total of 50,491 officers and staff will be appointed in Balochistan, including 5,266 presiding officers, 30,150 assistant presiding officers, and 15,075 polling staff.
