At least two people were killed and three injured when an improvised explosive device exploded in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district on Sunday, sources within the police said.

The deceased were identified as Saeed Zaman and a minor while Niaz Gul, along with his wife and son was wounded. They all belonged to the same family. The area fell in the remit of Bargi Police Station.

The wounded have been shifted to the hospital, they said and suspected that the IED was installed in Ozakai area’s farm land.
