Pakistan Women’s cricket team defeated Bangladesh Women’s cricket team by five wickets, in the first One Day International of the three-match series at Mirpur, on Saturday.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl against Bangladesh, in the first inning Bangladeshi women scored 81 runs in 31.5 overs while Pakistani women concluded the target with the loss of five wickets.

In reply, Pakistani women achieved the target in 24.5 over.

In a recent showdown, both Bangladesh and Pakistan engaged in a T20I series.
