Slain workers from Turbat shifted to Multan via helicopter
The bodies of the six workers killed by unknown men in Turbat’s tehsil Kech on Saturday were shifted to Multan via a helicopter.
Caretaker chief minister Ali Mardan Khan Domki saw the bodies off at Khalid Airbase where prayers were made for the departed.
Domki also spoke to the relatives of the deceased and offered his condolences. He also said that the perpetrators of the heinous crimes will be punished as per the law.
Unknown attackers broke into the house of Naseer Ahmed, a contractor, and opened fire that killed six people and injured two on Saturday. The victims were labourers who were sleeping in the house, the police said.
The dead were identified as Rizwan son of Allah Dad, Shehbaz son of Mumtaz, Waseem son of Mumtaz, Shafiq Ahmad, Muhammad Naeem, and Sikandar.
The men had been working in Turbat for many years and belonged to Multan and surrounding areas.
