The pre-match ceremony ahead of the most-anticipated match of the mega event between Pakistan and India at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmadabad, India was not telecast by the broadcasters.

Before the high-voltage Pakistan and India clash, the inaugural ceremony was held where Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadeven, and Sunidhi Chauhan performed.

The fans sitting on the ground were enjoying the event while the fans around the world could not see it, as the ceremony wasn’t broadcast live.

It may be recalled that the opening ceremony to mark the start of the 2023 World Cup was cancelled due to security concerns.

It was later announced that a special function would be held before the India-Pakistan match.
