Actor Mahira Khan has shared another video from her wedding festivities on Friday and guess what heartthrob Fawad Khan was also present in the event. The video shows it was Qawwali night.

“Anyone who knows me… knows.. Abida Parveen.. all my love, all my respect. Alhumdulillah. Shukr. Sabr. Shukr,” Mahira said in an Instagram post on Friday. Abida Parveen sung Jhoom – one of the hit songs from Coke Studio Season 14 – at the event. The Humsafar actor also shared a couplet from the kalam.

Sarmad Khoosat, Azam Sami Khan, Sarwa Gilani, Sheheryar Munawar, Momal Sheikh, Nabeel Qureshi, and Asim Raza had also attended the event.

Mahira Khan tied the knot with her beau Salim Karim in an elegant ceremony on October 1. Pictures and videos surfaced social media on Sunday night.

The event was apparently held in Bhurban of the Murree district. Mahira wore a sea-green colour dress while Karim wore black shalwar kameez.

Mahira had opened up about being in love back in 2020, first on Rewind with Samina Peerzada. But she shared more details on an Instagram live hosted by fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, who is often referred to his initials HSY.
