Boycott Mcdonald was trending on Friday around the world after it was revealed that the renowned multinational fast-food chain was supporting Israeli forces by providing free meals.

The burger giant made the announcement of sending free meals to Israeli soldiers along with pictures on their official Israel branch Instagram handle.

McDonald’s Israel said they had opened five branches that deal “only with aid and donations to the security and rescue forces. Every day we will donate about 4000 meals.”

Many people in the Muslim world were not happy with the revelation. They immediately referred to the situation in Gaza where, according to social media users, Palestinians were left without food.

However, netizens were demanding to boycott burger giant and to support Palestine.

The user on X, says: “Palestinians have no food and they are just giving free meals to IDF.”

The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) warned on Thursday that crucial supplies were running dangerously low in the Gaza Strip after Israel imposed a total blockade on the territory.

Israel announced a total siege on Gaza on Monday, blocking the entry of food, fuel, and water into the coastal territory and shuttering all crossing points.

McDonald’s Israel is operated and licensed by Alonyal Limited which is owned by Omri Padan.
