Nawaz Sharif begins ‘Umeed-e-Pakistan’ journey
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo and former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has reached Saudi Arabia from London as he started his journey to come back home after four years, sources informed.
Nawaz Sharif along with his companions traveled to Jeddah on Saudi Airlines Flight SV 116, the flight departed from Heathrow Airport in London.
The flight of Saudi Airlines arrived at Jeddah International Airport at 12:00 PM local time after traveling more than 4750 km in 5 hours and 27 minutes.
Nawaz Sharif received a warm welcome at Jeddah International Airport, PMLN sources said.
After staying in Saudi Arabia for a few days, the former Prime Minister will reach Dubai from where he will reach Pakistan in a special plane on October 21.
In the final leg of his journey, the flight carrying Nawaz Sharif from Dubai to Pakistan will have the call sign “Umeed-e-Pakistan” which can carry approximately 150 passengers.
