90s song remake announcement triggers fan reaction

Indian singer Bpraak on the 25th birthday of Kuch Kuch Hota announced the remake of its song Tujhay Yaad Na Mere Aye, as the movie holds a special place in the heart of 90’s kids.

Filmmaker Karan Johar also shared the news on his Instagram and expressed his wonder about another remake of the song.

Bpraak said it was his honor to remake the song and it was his wish to desire to remake on song.

He said: “I am thrilled to announce that I got the honour to sing for one and only Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee.” He expressed the hope that all will like his efforts.

Elated fans reacted to Karan Johar’s post, with one user writing, “Tujhe yaad has been my favourite since childhood, excited for this.” Another commented, “Memories flashing in my mind!”

Some opposed the idea and said: “For God’s sake, don’t spoil this beautiful song.”

However, Indian Kuch Kuch Hota Hai featuring Shah Rukh Khan Rani Mukerji, and Kajol, released in 1998 and on October 16, the film will complete 25 years. The film also starred Salman Khan, Anupam Kher, Johny Lever, and Archana Puran Singh in prominent roles.
