The Karachi police on Wednesday arrested four after a woman allegedly died of sex drugs overdose at a prostitution centre owned by a government employee.

The Special Investigation Unit of Karachi police arrested four men, identified as Kashif, Ejaz Hussain, Raja and Sabir on suspicion of the murder of the woman, SSP SIU Junaid Shaikh said.

The body of the victim was found wrapped in a blanket on September 27 in the bushes in the Sachal neighbourhoods of Gulshan Town in Karachi.

SSP Shaikh said that the woman was given excessive sex drugs in an attempt to increase her sex libido, which proved fatal.

Investigation into the woman’s killing revealed that she had died at the prostitution centre, which is owned by a government employee, he said, adding that police are investigating the accused to gain further information.
