Govt stops granting extra marks to Hafiz-e-Quran students
New policy effective in upcoming admission session
The government has decided to stop granting additional marks to Hafiz-e-Quran to get admission to MBBS and BDS degrees.
The new policy will be effective in the upcoming admission session.
Under the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council regulations, Hafiz-e-Quran were allowed a grant of 20 additional marks for admission to medical and dental colleges.
