Shehzad Roy has shared his new picture on X, formerly known as Twitter, and informed his fans that they would soon see him in that character.

“You will see me in this character soon. Can you guess who?” he said in a post on X on Monday. The picture shows him wearing a blue jeans jacket and having short hair.

In 2020, the Laga Reh vocalist said that he was all set to make his acting debut with famous 1965 sitcom Alif Noon’s remake. The famous sitcom was a drama that was aired on PTV News.

“Lots of issues triggered the song Laga Reh,” he recalled. “Now this video explains why we (Faisal Qureshi) are making the movie Alif Noon. I am so excited to act in it. This issue is still hot and relevant,” he said in an Instagram post on March 22, 2015.

The original Alif Noon starred veteran actors Kamaal Ahmed Rizvi as Allan, and Rafi Khawar as Nanha in lead roles.

Through his songs, Roy has been highlighting the social issues in Pakistan.
