Actor Mahira Khan has high expectations from her next movie, Neelofar, with Fawad Khan, hoping that the wait for the much anticipated film would be worth waiting for the fans who are desperate to see the two together.

“I just hope when Neelofar comes out.. it’s worth every second of the wait and every ounce of our hard work. InshAllah. Ameen,” she said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday.

The Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan starrer, Neelofar, is expected to be released in December this year. Many fans have been craving to see the hit duo on the big screen.

The film is written by Ammar Rasool and produced by Qasim Mehmood production.

Mahira made the post on the day when the first episode of the hit drama Humsafar was on air on television. Their onscreen chemistry was also loved by the people from across the border.

“12 years of all of you celebrating us… your love is felt and seen and heard. I know I keep saying soon…”

The two actors were last seen in the blockbuster movie The Legend of Maula Jatt, which broke all records. The Punjabi-language action-drama made $13.8 million worldwide, according to media reports. The movie got an unprecedented theatrical rerelease in key international markets earlier this year.

The hype for *Neelofar increased when Mahira announced in December 2020 that it was a wrap.
