Former skipper Shahid Khan Afridi expressed his frustration with people who secretly film him when he spends time with his family.

The legendary cricketer also shared his views on cricket and coaching during an appearance on the comedy show “Gup Shub” with Vasay Chaudhry.

Afridi acknowledged that it’s the love of his fans that drives them to want to meet him and learn about his daily life. However, he finds it irritating when he is on religious trips such as Hajj and Umrah and people try to film him secretly.

Afridi revealed that during Hajj, he confiscated the phones of those who were secretly filming him and his family.

Regarding his social media activities, Shahid Afridi emphasized the importance of education for using social media. He stated that social media should not be used for insulting others but should be a platform for spreading positive messages to the world.

The former captain mentioned that he can’t go a single day without exercise, as he began his career at a very early age and has developed a habit of regular exercise. He even goes to the gym when taking long flights.

Afridi added that all veteran cricketers should focus on lower-level cricket and train under-16 to under-19 players. He believes that the national team doesn’t need coaching, but younger players require guidance and coaching.

Regarding the Pakistani movie “Main Hun Shahid Afridi,” he said that he permitted the use of his name in the film because he supports content that delivers a positive message.
