Swedish woman arrives in Swat for love, converts to Islam
In yet another case of women from other nations landing in Pakistan to find love, a Swedish woman has arrived in Swat to marry a Pakistani young man.
Yantasath converted to Islam and tied the knot in tehsil Charbagh of Swat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The 44-year-old Swedish woman met Ahmad Shah, 23, through social media and the two fell in love. They moved to Islamabad after getting married in Swat.
Ahmed is a resident of Charbagh and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English.

Earlier, in a dramatic twist, an Indian woman from Alwar, Anju, travelled all the way to Upper Dir in Pakistan in July, converted to Islam and married her Pakistani lover Nasrullah.
She had been given the Islamic name of Fatima. Her story made headlines globally.
