Yoga class cut short after police called to report ‘mass killing’ in UK
A citizen called the police to report a “mass killing” after seeing multiple people lying on the floor inside the North Sea observatory in Chapel St Leonards in UK’s Lincolnshire, The Guardian reported.
It was later revealed that the people were attending a yoga class which was cut short as officers arrived at the spot over the “mass killing”.
Law enforcement officers turned up on Wednesday night as participants in the class, which was being held at the Seascape cafe, were in the midst of meditation.
In a Facebook post, the Seascape Cafe management told the residents of the area that police arrived at the observatory after someone had reported a mass killing in the building after seeing several people lying on the floor.
“Thank you to Lincolnshire Police for their prompt response. I can’t imagine for one moment what would have being going through their minds on the way….
Dear General Public, please be mindful that the Observatory has lots of Yoga classes happening in the evenings. We are not part of any mad cult or crazy clubs,“ it added.
A Facebook post on the cafe’s page says the venue holds New Moon yoga classes on Wednesdays from 7.30-9pm where you can feel “called to dive deep into the lunar cycle”.
