The Election Commission of Pakstan has approved the transfers and postings of 40 officers in the Sindh Police.

THe officers include an additional inspector general, eight deputy inspector generals and 31 superintendants and senior superintandants.

Khadim Hussain Rind has been appointed Additional IG Special Branch in Karachi.

Syed Asad Raza has been appointed DIG Karachi South Zone, Asim Khan has been appointed DIG West Zone, Captain (r) Ghulam Azfar Mahesar has been appointed DIG East Zone.

Tariq Razzak Dharejo has been appointed DIG Hyderabad, Tanveer Alam Odho has been appointed DIG Mirpurkhas and Captain (r) Pervaiz Ahmed Chandio has been appointed DIG Shaheed Benazirabad.

Abdul Hameed Khoso has been appointed DIG Sukkur while Javed Jiskani has been appointed DIG Larkana.

The ECP had recently written to the Sindh government to remind it to shuffle seniro bureaucrats in the province in order to ensure a transparent election.
