Archrivals India and Pakistan will meet today in Sri Lanka for Asia Cup 2023 One Day International, after four years.

The battle of the two is set to begin 02:30 pm Pakistan time.

The last they clashed in an ODI was in the World Cup 2019. Their last T20 match was in October 2022 which India managed to win by four wickets in a drama-filled final over.

There is good news for cricket lovers. The chances that rain will ruin the match being played in Kandy have minised.

It is going to be a tough battle.

Indian journalists have been saying that “for the first time in the recent history of India-Pakistan cricket, there is a lack of a clear frontrunner for pundits and fans to pick.”

Pakistan, the No. 1-ranked ODI team are in fine form in the 50-over format of the game, while India seems to be finally moving in the right direction after having overcome a few concerning injury issues, said India Today.
