The per ounce price of gold rose by $11 to $1,915 on Thursday. However, the impact did not carry over to Pakistani markets where the prices are expected to remain stable.

A statement from the Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association said that the price of gold in the country will remain at Rs199,417 per 10 grams.
