The prime suspect in the Fatima murder case was part of the dark web, the victim’s lawyer said on Monday as a court in Khairpur’s Ranipur heard the case.

“There are some reports that Asad Shah is a member of the dark web,” Mir Imtiaz Memon told reporters outside the court. “These people make and upload videos of child abuse and he records videos and sells them to the dark web.”

The death of Fatima under mysterious circumstances was reported on August 16 after a couple of her surfaced on social media. She used to work at the mansion, locally known as haveli, of Pir Asad Shah in the Khairpur district. She was 10 years old.

But Shah has denied allegations and claimed that they themselves gave the videos of their house to the police. These were apparently the same clips that went viral on social media.

Similar sorts of claims were made when the prime suspect in the Zainab murder case was arrested.

Fatima’s lawyer also alleged that the police keep the accused in the bungalow at night and he was brought to the police station in the morning in fear of the public.

The girl’s father Nadeem Ali Phariro vowed that he would never forgive the murderer and would not rest until the accused was not executed.

“Now there is no fear. I have no concern even if my life is lost,” he said.

Meanwhile, it was revealed that the man who used to treat the minor maid was a peon, not a dispenser. He was named Imtiaz. It was confirmed by the Sindh Health Department.

A copy of the final medical report, seen by Aaj News, said that the findings suggest Fatima’s body was penetrated confirming rape. The report said samples have been sent to a laboratory for analysis.

The medical board found wounds on Fatima’s neck, abdomen and arms after the postmortem examination was completed.

The samples taken from the body of the minor maid will be sent to a laboratory for examination and the results will likely return in around one month.
