Woking murder: Trio known to Sara Sharif booked tickets to Pakistan
Three people known to 10-year-old Sara Sharif booked one-way tickets to Pakistan and departed from England a day before her body was found, BBC Urdu reported.
The body of Sara, daughter of a Pakistan-origin father and Polish mother, was found at a home located in Surrey, a town in the UK, on August 10.
A travel agent told the state media of the UK that three individuals connected him to book the tickets for five children and three adults.
According to the UK police, the three people they wanted to talk to fled the country on August 9. The police didn’t disclose their names.
The Surrey police have started the investigation into the case after they found Sara’s body in her father’s home located in the village of Horsell, near Woking,
The travel agent identified that the individuals booked the tickets and added that they had used his services before as well.
BBC News said that it has contacted Pakistan police but they said the British police did not contact them to investigate the matter.
Sara’s post-mortem had to be done on Tuesday, but it could not be done.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, her mother Olga Sharif expressed grief and said she was unable to believe that her daughter was no more. She was divorced and Sara was in the custody of her father.
“My daughter was an excellent girl. I can’t do anything to bring her back. Therefore, I can just remember the memories, I spent with her,” her mother said.
A neighbour living in front of Sara’s house said that the girl usually took care of her younger siblings. especially her youngest one.
