Four drowned while swimming in Karachi’s Gadap town pond and China port

At least three drowned while swimming in a pond in Gadap town of Karachi while another drowned in a similar incident at sea near China Port in Clifton on Monday, rescue officials said.

Police and rescue teams recovered the bodies of the victims, identified as Yousuf, Waqas and Allah Baksh, and were moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

In a similar accident near China Port, another man drowned as he was swimming in the open sea. Rescue workers recovered the body of the victim identified as Abdur Rahim, 40, and moved it to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
