Seema Haider hoists tricolour flag in India
Seema Haider, who crossed borders to marry her lover in India, was seen hoisting a tricolour flag on Monday.
She participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga celebration at her residence in Noida along with her lawyer, AP Singh, India Today reported.
Seema arrived in India in July to marry Indian citizen Sachin Meena. According to reports, she has adopted Hinduism and refused to return to Pakistan.
They have also added that Seema has turned down the movie offer. The rejection came after a leader from Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena party warned her against making a Bollywood debut.
Reports said that she had started shooting for the film titled Karachi to Noida.
Meanwhile, an Indian-origin professor Ashok Swain in Sweden shared a video where Seema was seen chanting anti-Pakistan slogans along with her children.
“A Pakistani woman has come to marry an Indian in India. Getting a video of her chanting Pakistan Murdabad (Death of Pakistan) on Pakistan’s Independence Day & spreading it shows how low India’s morales and self-confidence has gone under Modi’s hate rule!” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
