Karachi university student clash leave five injured
A student clash at the University of Karachi has left at least five students injured.
The altercation occurred between the Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) and a Sindhi student organization.
The injured were rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medical treatment.
It was not clear what caused the altercation which turned into a brawl and authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the cause of the clash.
Videos received by Aaj News showed injured students laying on chairs near a Rangers post in the university.
The University of Karachi is one of the largest public sector universities in Pakistan with over 22,000 students.
