Balochistan’s ex CM Aslam Raisani’s nephew killed in gunfight

The nephew of Balochistan’s former chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani, was killed in a shoot-out between two groups at a bus terminal on Sariab Road in Quetta.

However, the reason for the gunfight was not immediately known.

Other than Nawabzada Haroon Raisani, the deceased included prominent transporter Brahmadagh Lahri and a Levies official, while four others were injured in the exchange of fire.

The police teams arrived at the scene and moved the bodies and injured to hospital of the city.

Suspected bomber targets police check post

An explosion was reported on Wednesday at Spinny Road in Quetta city of Balochistan resulting in the death of a citizen.

Reports suggest that the blast occurred near a police station situated at Spinny road.

SHO Kharotabad said that the suspected attacker was carrying explosives and planned to target the police check post.

He went on to add that the police have taken the body of the suspected attacker and started investigations.
