Another love story transcending Pakistani borders surfaced on Thursday in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province where an Indian and a Chinese woman earlier this week married Pakistani men.

Nicole Iglesias, 36, from Chile, in South America, is living in the Charsadda district of KP with her Pakistani husband Ikramullah, 27.

She entered the region a few weeks ago on a two-month visit visa to unite with Ikramullah whom she met online.

Ikramullah told Aaj News that he is a TikToker and his videos attracted Nicole, who is also a citizen of the United States.

After converting to Islam and marrying Ikramullah, Nicole has taken up the Islamic name of Noreen.

“She wants to take me with her to America and says that if I did not agree to join her there she would stay in Pakistan,” Ikramullah said.

He has already been granted a US visa and they will be leaving the country on August 27.

Nicole is a manager at an Apple store.

Their love not only transcended international borders but also the language barrier. Noreen is struggling to learn local languages and Ikramullah cannot speak her mother tongue Spanish. So, they use Google Translate to communicate.

After the conversion, Noreen covers herself up with a burqa when outside the house.
