A new video has revealed the moment Indian woman Anju crossed into Pakistan through the Wagah border.

The video was recorded by Anju herself as she walked to the between the gates separating India and Pakistan. A porter can be seen carting her bags ahead of her.

While Anju case’s has many parallels with Seema Haider’s case, the major difference is that Anju travelled to Pakistan after gaining complete paperwork.

She eventually made it to Upper Dir to meet Nasrullah, a man she had first came into contact with on Facebook four years ago.

However, after the matter made headlines on both sides of the border, Nasrullah said on Monday that theo two did not plan on getting married and Anju would return to India after her visa ended on August 20.

Meanhwile, a statement from Anju’s husband Arvind had said that she had told him she was going to Jaipur for a few days but had later told him she had reached Lahore.

Arvind added that Anju converted to Christianity to be with him and they had two children together. He had also expressed ‘hope’ that she would come back to him.
