Humayun, Yumna to share screen for Qamar’s serial ‘Gentleman’
Iconic star of Pakistan’s entertainment industry Humayun Saeed will be sharing the screen with Yumna Zaidi in an upcoming serial ‘Gentleman’ to be produced by Samina Humayun Saeed – who is also the head of Next Level Entertainment – and Sana Shahnawaz.
The serial is directed by Hassam Hussain as announced by ‘Green Entertainment’ which will present the most-awaited drama of the year.
Whereas, the script has been written by the famous playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, who rose to prominence with the mega-hit drama serial ‘Mery Pass Tum Ho’.
The Humayun Saeed also garnered accolades and overwhelming praises from the viewers for ‘Mery Pass Tum Ho’.
With ‘Gentleman’’ Humayun will return to the small screen after a three-year hiatus.
In addition, Khalil’s next project ‘Main Manto nahe hun’ will also cast Saeed. The project is still in the process of finalization.
Meanwhile, Yumna Zaidi, who was applauded by the viewers for her remarkable performances in ‘Teray Bin’ is expected to touch a new feat with ‘Gentleman’.
Yumna was in the news recently over the statement given by senior actress Nadia Afghan,who downplayed the former’s contribution by calling her an “over-rated actress”.
Last month, Nadia Afghan appeared on a program where the host Ayesha Jahanzeb of A-Plus entertainment channel asked her about the overrated actors in the industry.
In her response, Nadia Afghan mentioned Zaidi’s name, which triggered a harsh response from her admirers.
It also prompted Bushra Ansari to extend support to the Teray Bin actress.
As the announcement was made, the netizens rushed to the comment section to weigh in on the screen chemistry of the duo-actors, hoping this serial to turn out to be a hit.
