The Uttar Pradesh Police has increased surveillance on Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman who announced to adopt Hinduism after illegally entering India to marry her Indian lover, India Today reported.

A senior police officer expressed concerns about potential attacks on Seema after she spoke about converting from Islam to Hinduism to be with Sachin Meena, her Hindu lover.

The police official warned that some miscreant, disguised as a member of crowd or media personnel, may target Seema.

Seema, a resident of Jacobabad, Sindh had entered India through Nepal after falling in love with Sachin on PUBG.

A mother of four Seema, was arrested by the Indian Police on July 4, along with her four children and Sachin. However, they were granted bail on July 7.

After her release, she made an appearance on media where she announced that she had adopted Hinduism and refused to return to Pakistan, despite suspected of being a Pakistani spy.

She is now living with her Indian lover Sachin and her four children in the Rabopura area of Greater Noida.

Police officers, both in uniform and plain clothes, are discreetly deployed around the house in Rabupura.

As per Indian media, Sachin and his family informed the local police about the potential attack on Seema.
