Alamgir Tareen’s fiancee spoke to him before death: police sources
Investigations into Alamgir Tareen’s death continued to progress as police contacted his fiancee on Sunday.
According to sources, the lady told the police that she spoke to Alamgir on the phone for about 30 minutes before his death.
She added that the converstaion consisted of routine matters. Alamgir died the same night between 1 am and 2 am.
Police sources have also added that no significant evidence has been uncovered regarding the businessman’s death. They also added that the scope of investigation will be broadened after forensice analysis is completed.
Alamgir was found dead at his home in Lahore on Thursday. Although initial reports and family sources said the death was apparently a suicide, the police are yet to make an official statement.
