Bad weather lands KP smugglers into hands of customs at Islamabad airport
Two suspected smugglers were arrested by Pakistan Customs when their flight bound for Peshawar from Dubai landed at the Islamabad airport due to bad weather.
The Customs officials recovered 139 mobile phones from Muhammad Abbas, a resident of Kohat, while 111 mobile phones were recovered from another passenger of the flight.
The total worth of the phones recovered from the suspects is estimated at Rs60 million.
The Peshawar-bound flight was diverted towards Islamabad airport after encountering extreme weather as monsoon rains have lashed parts of Pakistan.
