As the canal along the Canal Road overflowed, it brought small fish with it to the streets, along with the water of the canal.
Lahore received heavy downpour on Wednesday leading to at least seven deaths across the city, while several areas were submerged.
Water also entered residential buildings in several areas, leaving residents trapped in their houses. The roads in the city were also inundated.
The rainwater entered houses in Tajpura and Lahore Development Authority, while the provincial authorities failed to take action despite continuous complaints by the residents.
Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi tweeted that 272 millimeter of rain had been recorded in just nine hours.
While speaking to media during his visit to affected areas, he said that second spell of the torrential rains is expected to arrive at 9pm today (Wednesday).
