A terror attack in Sherani district of Balochistan took the lives of four security personnel on Sunday.

The attack took place on a check post in Dhana Sar town in Sherani district, which is a part of Zhob Division. Out of the four officials killed, three belonged to the police while the fourth belonged to the Frontier Constabulary.

The exchange of fire also killed one terrorist. A search operation is being conducted in the area.

Babar Yousafzai, a spokesperson for the Balochistan government, said that terrorists were trying to destroy the peace of the province through ‘cowardly’ attacks and that no mercy will be shown to the terrorists. He also added that the whole country was proud of the sacrifices law enforcement officials have made for peace in the province.
