Gujranwala: In a shocking incident in a private housing society, four bodies were found inside a car on Friday the second day of Eid, according to the police.

The deceased individuals, whose names were identified as Zeen, Daniyal, Afaq, and Shahryar, include two brothers and two cousins, as per the police report.

The police stated that all four bodies have been transferred to the post-mortem hospital. However, the cause of death is yet to be determined.

Gujranwala Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.

In a separate incident in Faisalabad, a suspect in Saddar Jaranwala police jurisdiction committed a double murder, killing his elder brother and three-year-old nephew.

According to the police, the perpetrator fled after fatally stabbing both individuals and efforts are underway to locate and apprehend him.

The police have taken custody of the bodies of both the father and son for further examination.
