Asad Umar and Shah Mahmood Qureshi get bail in rioting case
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar were granted bail by the Islamabad High Court on Friday.
The court stopped police from arresting the two leaders till July 10 and summoned records pertaining to their cases by the next hearing.
A case had been filed against both leaders in Islamabad’s Tarnol police station for inciting people to violent protests on May 9, after Imran Khan was arrested.
Their bail had been recently cancelled by a district court after which they had managed to escape from court premises.
