Zaka Ashraf set to make comeback in PCB
Former Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Zaka Ashraf has been nominated as a member of the cricketing body’s board of governors.
The nomination was confirmed by a notification issued by the Prime Minister’s Office on Tuesday. Advocate Mustafa Ramday has also been nominated.
Ashraf is favourite to succeed Najam Sethi, who has withdrawn himself from the election.
Board members are eligible to run for PCB chairman. The development comes right after Najam Sethi announced that he would not be in the running for Chairman PCB.
Ashraf had previously served as Chairman of the board between 2011 and 2014. He was replaced by Najam Sethi.
